Also sponsored by Supsan, Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport (BOM) has completed the third round of the 2025 GT4 European Series. The races held on June 27-28 at the world-famous Spa-Francorchamps Circuit in Belgium provided thrilling action for the spectators. BOM raised our flag on the podium with the performance and results they achieved throughout the weekend, finishing at the top of the podium and making significant progress in both team and driver standings.
In the first race held on Friday, June 27, the duo of Yağız Gedik and Pedro Ebrahim, competing in car number 11, started the race from 20th place and finished 9th with their steady performance. And, the duo of Berkay Besler and Gabriele Piana, racing in car number 12, started the race from 9th place and impressively climbed to first place. However, due to a 10-second penalty they received, they finished the race in 4th place.
In the second race which was held on Saturday, June 28, the duo of Yağız Gedik and Pedro Ebrahim in car number 11 could not finish the race due to a collision they had after starting from 6th place. Berkay Besler and Gabriele Piana, who raced with car number 12, completed the second day starting from 3rd place and they finished at the top of the podium, thanks to their flawless performance. With this result, Berkay Besler continued the tradition by reaching the podium for the fourth consecutive time at Spa-Francorchamps.
Following their successful results at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport achieved a great success by rising from 6th to 2nd place in the team standings. The duo of Berkay Besler and Gabriele Piana rose to third place in the drivers' standings, strengthening their championship claims.
The fourth round of the GT4 European Series will take place on July 19–20 at the Misano Circuit in Italy.
