Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport (BOM) earned valuable points for the championship in the 5th round of the GT4 European Series races that were held on September 2-3 at Hockenheim Track in Germany, which used to host F1 races in the past.
Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport (BOM) team, sponsored by Supsan, could not achieve the desired speed in the races or the qualifying laps due to the performance stabilizers introduced before the weekend races. On the first day of the races, Berkay Besler and Tom Edgar started the race in 37th place and finished in 15th.
Yağız Gedik and Enzo Joulie, on the other hand, started the race in 41st place and made their way to 29th place, but they could not finish the race due to contact with another car.
On the second day, Berkay Besler and Tom Edgar started the race in 19th place and finished in 8th, scoring important points for the championship and maintaining their second place in the GT4 European Series ahead of the final round. Yağız Gedik and Enzo Joulie could not participate in the second race due to the contact in the first race.
The 6th round of the GT4 European Series will be held at Barcelona Track in Spain on September 30-October 1.
