Atınç Ocak successfully ran many departments at Supsan over the past 25 years and has now been appointed its general manager.
Borusan Holding CEO Erkan Kafadar pointed out that they had been focusing on employee career and talent development for many years, emphasising that general manager appointments were made in-house.
Atınç Ocak took over the position of general manager of Supsan, which is a Borusan Group company and Türkiye’s largest manufacturer of engine vales with a capacity of 12 million pieces, on 1 January 2021.
Ocak has put his name to many pioneering jobs during his 25 years as an accomplished executive in Supsan’s various departments. He successfully increased Supsan’s factory production capacity, got the company qualified in Engine Testing and Turbo Production with Türkiye’s first sodium-filled hollow valve serial production line, and oversaw the establishment of the company’s R&D Department.
Pointing out that they had been investing in talented employees and focusing on their career development for many years in the Borusan Group, Borusan Holding CEO Erkan Kafadar said this about Atınç Ocak’s appointment as Supsan General Manager:

After completing his secondary and high-school education at the Çavuşoğlu private college, Atınç Ocak graduated from the Mechanical Engineering department at Yıldız Technical University. Ocak entered working life as a Manufacturing Engineer at Supsan in 1995 and subsequently worked there as Maintenance Engineer, Imports Expert, Lean 6 Sigma Project Manager, Planning and Logistics Manager, Lean 6 Sigma Distribution Champion, Purchasing and Planning Manager and Technical Units Group Manager, respectively. Atınç Ocak is married and has 1 child.

One of the Borusan Group companies, Supsan has been making engine valves for all types of internal combustion engine under the Eaton SRL licence since 1970. It supplies brand-genuine parts such as valves, guides, lugs, push rods and valve heads. Supsan is Türkiye’s largest manufacturer in its field.
