Türkiye’s largest manufacturer of engine valves, Supsan makes a difference with the high-tech turbochargers it produces. Supsan is increasing its competency in this field every day with turbochargers for different makes and models, all of which have passed endurance and leakage tests with 100-percent quality control assured.
One of the Borusan Group companies, Supsan brings its experience and strength to turbochargers. Turbochargers supply air to engines at higher pressure and volumes by using the waste energy inside the exhaust created by combustion in the engine, and the company has increased its investments in this technology in recent years seeking to increase turbocharger performance and lifespan. The products offered with Supsan quality make a difference in the market.
Goal: To be the supplier of choice for turbocharger users
Stating that Supsan increased its work on turbocharger technology in 2014, Supsan Commercial Units Manager Mert Altuğ said they were conducting R&D studies in line with the goal of being Türkiye OEM turbocharger supplier. Speaking about the turbochargers made with Supsan quality, Altuğ made this evaluation:
“When it comes to turbocharger production, we at Supsan are focused on continuous self-improvement, experimenting on new prototypes, and getting results that outperform existing designs. Turbocharger production is a very complicated process, and we are continuing our efforts to achieve the best results. We need to examine how this part functions to better show what makes us different in turbocharger production. A turbocharger is an extremely sensitive part that spins at 150,000-200,000 rpm. It needs to be kept lubricated and its vacuum line kept clean. Replacing it requires a clean environment and a lot of care. It is at this stage that the air filter, oil filter and engine oil, which are all integral parts of the turbocharger, are replaced. The success we have achieved in making this sensitive part, which needs the utmost care even during maintenance and replacement, has positioned us well on the path to becoming our country’s OEM turbocharger supplier”.
