Teams runner-up in the Motul 2023 Türkiye Karting Championship, the Supsan-sponsored BOM Karting Team got the 2024 season off to a flying start. The BOM Karting Team breezed through the first leg races at the Izmit Bay Race Track over 20-21 April, putting three pilots on the winners’ podium.
Türkiye’s youngest karting pilot, Zayn Sofuoğlu, completed the first leg as winner of the TOSFED Micro Support Cup with the points he scored in the three races held during this, the first racing weekend of his professional career.
Starting the second season with the BOM Karting Team, Efe Ayhan finished the first leg races in second place in the Mini category.
Finishing third in the Türkiye Karting Championship Mini category in 2022, Rüzgar Evci completed the first leg races in third place amid fierce competition.
Returning to the track after a 1-year break, BOM Karting’s pilot in the Senior category Sarp Arhan Or successfully competed in the first leg, finishing the weekend in 6th place.
The 2nd Leg of the Motul Türkiye Karting Championship will take place at the Istanbul Tuzla Karting Park over 25-26 May.
